Hi Everyone!

I know the suspense is killing you! Just a reminder, on December 3^rd, the grand prize winner for the Reel Girls, Real Life Contest will be revealed!

Girls from ages 15 to 18 entered the Reel Girls, Real Life Contest by submitting a concept video for a commercial designed to persuade teen girls not to drink alcohol. The grand prize winner’s PSA will be produced and aired as the Century Council’s first Girl Talk national commercial. The winner will also receive $5,000 and Century Council will fly her and a parent of guardian to film her commercial with the pros.

The finalist are, Dorene Ahmad from New York with, “Crowd Surfing”, Kylee Darcy from California with, “What You Don’t Know”, Kerri Kehl from Arizona with, “Hard Year”, Kira LaCross from New Hampshire with, “Reason I Don’t Drink”, Ralitza Treneva from Illinois with, “Think Twice Before You Drink”, and Melinda Whitaker from Ohio with, “How Alcohol Affects Self Image”.

Ladies good luck to all of you and keep up the excellent work! I congratulate everyone who entered the contest for their efforts to communicate with their peers about the dangers of underage drinking and the importance of living a healthy lifestyle!
