Happy New Year! I hope you had a great holiday season and and that you’re excited about a new year.

I heard about this great contest and wanted to pass it along….

The 13th Annual Grand Canyon State Games NATIONAL Essay Contest!

The 2008 Essay Contest takes on a national format in its thirteenth year. For the fifth time, 47 other State Games programs across the country have been invited to compete in this year’s competition. This contest now provides the youth of America an arena to compete as a means of self-improvement.

2008 marks the 16th anniversary of the Grand Canyon State Games. Over the years, more than 300,000 participants have had the chance to enjoy the spirit of competition in sports, games, and an Art/Essay contest. The Essay Contest expands that opportunity to encourage children to express their ideas through words as well. The vision of healthy self-improvement through friendly competition continues in the Essay Contest.
